Bunny Day is one of the major yearly events that happen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Once the yellow bunny visits your island there is plenty for you to do to celebrate the event. When Is Bunny Day 2022?
Bunny Day will be on April 17th, 2022. When you open up your game, Isabelle will mention that it's Bunny Day during her daily announcements and she will drop hints that you have a special visitor on the Island.
What Is It?
The event coincides with and seems to celebrate Easter Sunday at the same time as the real-world holiday. Zipper, a rather melancholic rabbit, will visit your town and your island will be filled with egg-citing treats.
What Do You Need To Do on Bunny Day?
On Bunny Day, you need to go and talk to Zipper who is in the plaza outside Resident Services. He will talk to you about the day and tell you that they have hidden eggs across your island (no eggs are hidden indoors). Zipper will then give you a Bunny Day recipe and tell you that there are recipes like that one hidden across your Island too. He will also tell you that there is a special prize if you collect and craft all of his Bunny Day recipes.
These are the 6 types of eggs that you can find across your island:
- Earth Eggs - these can be found by digging up the ground where you would usually look for a Fossil.
- Leaf Eggs - You'll find these growing on non-fruit trees on your Island.
- Sky Eggs - These can be found by shooting down floating balloon gifts.
- Stone Eggs - If you hit a rock with a Shovel or an Axe, you should find some of these.
- Water Eggs - You will need to get your fishing rod out and go fishing for these ones. Eggs will have the same shape as a fish shadow, it's up to chance if you get an egg or a fish.
- Wood Eggs - You can get these eggs by hitting a tree with an Axe. We recommend using a Flimsy Axe as you can get the materials from a tree without cutting it down.
Sometimes villagers will ask you if you want to trade your eggs for some of theirs. This is particularly useful if you're struggling to get a certain egg type.
