Just a day after we received update 1.12, a new patch has dropped on Animal Crossing New Horizons!
Although this patch isn't as extravagant as the last, it does sort out an irritating balloon glitch.

Update 1.13 Patch Notes
The Japanese patch notes state the following:
Fixed a bug where balloons would not fly under certain conditions.
This short, but to the point note solves the issue with balloons not appearing. The update is now live and ready to download worldwide.
