When Is New Year's Eve 2022?
New Year's Eve 2022 falls on December 31st which is a Friday. Items surrounding the event can be bought from Nook's Cranny and Nook Shopping a week before the event.
What Is the New Year's Eve Event?
The New Year's Eve event in the game is an event that spans the entire day before the beginning of the new year. It's when your Island is celebrating the end of the year and the start of a brand new one. The celebrations start from early in the morning and go on until the following day.
Isabelle and Tom Nook will have closed Resident Services for the day (if you need to do anything there then you will need to wait until the next day or time travel). They will have set up a big countdown clock in the center of the Plaza and both of them will be wearing themed items.
There are no specific tasks that you have to accomplish on the day, this event is more about you taking time out to relax and have fun with your friends or villagers. Make sure you are in the Plaza outside Resident Services at midnight to celebrate the end of the countdown with your villagers and bring in the New Year together.
How To Get New Year’s Eve Items
