It's not a reflection of their critical success, though, as both The World Ends With You entries were successful in this regard. The original game was critically acclaimed for its fresh story and touchscreen based gameplay on Nintendo DS. Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance for the Nintendo 3DS was also a success, which saw major TWEWY characters helping Sora.
