Apex Legends Sentinel Sniper Rifle Factory Issue Skin

The Sentinel Sniper Rifle entered the Apex Legends fray in Season 4 and ever since then, it has become one of the most popular weapons in the game. This sniper rifle is a bolt-action one, meaning it packs a massive punch when it hits enemies but can take a while to reload.

The aspect of this weapon that has made it a firm favourite is its unique charge mechanic. To put it simply, you can use a shield battery to charge up the rifle. When charged, the power of the Sentinel will be increased by 25% for the next 8 shots. We recommend that you use these shots quite quickly as the charge does run out after a time.

On this page, we're going to show you the damage stats, attachments, and skins for the epic Sentinel Sniper Rifle.

Review

The interesting thing about the Sentinel is its charge mechanic and the power that it has once you charge it up. Once charged, the shots from the sniper are incredibly powerful. It can crack an enemy's armour no matter how strong it is, including Red armour. This means that a clean body shot with a charged Sentinel does up to 100 damage, no matter where you hit them.

The Sentinel takes a sniper stock, sniper scopes, and of course, extended sniper magazines. This is a bonus in battle because many people opt for assault rifles or LMG's, leaving plenty of this equipment laying around each map. Overall, if you enjoy hanging back from your squad and engaging in long-range combat, this is the weapon for you.

There are plenty of other weapons for you to use in Apex Legends if the Sentinel doesn't interest you. You can take a look at our weapons tier list to find out which weapons are the best ones for this season. Sometimes, you will be knocked down and your team will be unable to get you back up. This is why it's useful to know how to self-revive. Get yourself back into the fight and increase your chances of being the champion squad.
