Best Settings for Low-End PCs
You cannot simply turn all of the settings off and hope for a good game. In Arenas, you add bits to and remove bits from weapons to make the most powerful one out of everything you have on you. It's a similar concept with PCs. You won't need everything on, so you can pick certain settings to tweak to give you the best performance out of what you have. Not all of the default settings for Apex need to be changed, so if you don't see a setting on this list then you can leave it alone.
- Display - Full Screen
- Resolution - Set this to whatever your default (native) screen resolution is.
- V-Sync - Disabled
- Adaptive Resolution FPS Target - Disable
- Adaptive Supersampling - Disable
- Texture Streaming Budget - Turn to the lowest possible setting
- Ambient Occlusion - Disable
- Sun Shadow Coverage & Sun Shadow Detail - Low
- Spot Shadow Detail - Disable
- Volumetric Lighting - Disable
- Model & Effects Detail - Low (you can turn this to medium if you are not happy with the visual effect this has on the game)
- Anti-Aliasing - Disable
You may find that you can tweak some of these settings if you think your PC can handle it. This is just a basic guide to create a good quality and, more importantly, smooth in-game experience.
