What is Low Profile in Apex Legends?

There are a ton of free-to-play shooters but one game that seems to be ahead of the pact is EA’s Apex Legends.

While the game does have the usual setbacks that are associated with free-to-play games, including in-game purchases and Battle Passes that give players some more content, its gameplay is just so fun and solid that gamers can’t help but have a good time.

What is Low Profile in Apex Legends?

Apex Legends really does a lot to make their character feel unique, with certain perks making each playable Legend have their own advantage over the other.

Low Profile is one of those perks, as it makes characters have this perk a bit harder to hit than others.

It’s a pretty useful ability when you’re far from your opponents, as aiming has to be precise to hit someone that has the Low Profile perk, but it also has some disadvantages.

Low Profile makes it so that an Apex Legend is harder to hit, but in turn, that character takes 5% more damage when they actually do get shot or melee’d.

Currently, the Apex Legends that have Low Profile as a perk include Lifeline, Wattson, and Wraith, so it’s easy to assume that these are some of the game’s faster characters.

Pathfinder was a character who used to have Low Profile in Apex Legends, but that perk was recently removed since he was becoming a little too hard to shoot for some players.

This nerf might seem a bit much but that also means he won’t take the 5% extra damage like the other three characters, which isn’t too bad.

It also helps that Pathfinder is already a really fast character in his own right, with some fans calling the character Spider-Man-like.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play shooter available now on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version arriving tomorrow, March 9.
