The Swiss K31 is the fourth bolt-action sniper rifle to be added into the Cold War arsenal. Armed with extremely low levels of recoil and lethal accuracy levels, this particular sniper rifle excels in mid-range engagements alongside long-distance duels from one end of the map to the other.

While its accuracy levels are impressive, the rifle often falls short when it comes to scoring one-shot kills even when aiming at the upper body, meaning hitmarkers appear more often in comparison to other snipers in the category.

With that said, the right attachment combination can improve levels of damage which does improve performance slightly.

Swiss K31 Cold War Best Attachments

  • Iron Sights (Optic)
  • Stabilizer .308 (Muzzle)
  • 24.9" Tiger Team (Barrel)
  • Dropshot Wrap (Handle)
  • Wire Stock (Stock)

This set of attachments does address the lack of damage, with the Tiger Team barrel providing a 20% increase in damage and a 50% increase in bullet velocity.

It's very easy to be mobile with this sniper which is why we have selected the Iron Sights as an optic. It provides the right amount of zoom when aiming in, providing a crystal-clear view of any enemy that dares to move into your line of sight.

Secondary - Hauer 77

  • Duckbill Choke (Muzzle)
  • 19.3” Overlord (Barrel)
  • SWAT 5mW Laser Sight (Body)
  • Quickdraw Handle (Handle)
  • Shotgun Stock (Stock)

It's tricky to use the Swiss K31 in close-quarters engagements so we selected the Hauer 77 shotgun to get up close and personal with the opposition.

It's the perfect weapon to fall back on in order to deal with any potential flanks or any opposition attempting to make an aggressive play on your location.

Grenades

  • Molotov
  • Stun Grenade

This utility combination may seem unorthodox but it is incredibly useful. Throw the Molotov at an encroaching enemy to deal lasting damage or use it to block off a chokepoint to give yourself some valuable time to relocate to another position.

The stun grenade is ideal, especially with the frequent hitmarkers that appear. Throw it near an enemy to slow their movement and take them down with ease.

Field Upgrade

  • Trophy System

It's more than likely that the opposing team will attempt to flush you out of position with some well-placed grenades.

Place the Trophy System close by to prevent any grenades from ruining your killstreak!

Perks

  • Paranoia
  • Tracker
  • Ninja

This is an unusual Perk combination but it drastically improves your overall awareness of the nearby area.

Paranoia pulses your vision when an enemy outside of your view has seen you, giving you just enough time to reposition before they take you down. Tracker shows the footprints of nearby opponents, enabling you to eliminate them from behind with no resistance. Lastly, Ninja turns footstep audio down to minimal levels, allowing you to traverse the map without alerting any opposition to your whereabouts.
