However, some banners are limited-time, meaning if you want a character, you only have a certain window to recruit them. On top of that, you have a whole mess of banner rates and drop percentages to contend with, which is what actually determines whether you'll get who you want.

How To Get Recruitment Points in Blue Archive
As with a lot of other gacha games, Blue Archive gives you a pity resource that you can also use to summon or even get a guaranteed 3-star character, as with the Recruitment Ticket banner.
This resource is called Recruitment Points, and you get one Recruitment Point for every summon you make, costing 120 Pyroxene per. With ten summons, you get enough Recruitment Points for a Recruitment Ticket. If you somehow end up with 200 Recruitment Points, you can claim either of the featured banner characters, which are currently Mashiro or Aru.
