Despite the current state of Vanguard multiplayer, players are continuing to log in to get their fix of fast-paced action. As Season 1 Reloaded progresses, the community is requesting Sledgehammer Games to make a small change to Vanguard's head-up display (HUD).
The HUD contains a wealth of important information ranging from ammo capacity to a compass enabling players to determine the location of any nearby opposition.
While the change may not have a huge impact on gameplay, making this particular change will allow players to differentiate between the wide range of weapons within the ever-expanding arsenal.
Call of Duty Vanguard HUD Change
The change suggested by Reddit user 'masterchiefs' requests the developers to include the name of the gun at the bottom right of the HUD rather than displaying the name of the blueprint. With a wide range of blueprints available for the majority of weapons in Vanguard, it's a confusing feature.

Thanks to the various visual modifications and the name change, it's difficult for players to determine which weapon they're using if they find one over the course of a match. "This s*** is annoying along with naming guns after the phonetic alphabet," added one commenter. "Just use the gun's name?"
Will The Vanguard HUD Get Changed?
Considering there are several issues with Vanguard that need addressing, an adjustment to the HUD could be a while away meaning it's probably best to get familiar with the blueprints that are currently on offer. With the MP40 proving popular after weapon adjustments have taken effect, we suggest taking a look at some of the unique designs that are available.
