The 2022 Call of Duty League (CDL) is in full swing. After three weeks of online matches, teams are returning to LAN for the first of four Majors taking place throughout the year.
In addition to the online matches, Majors act as another opportunity for teams to earn those all-important CDL Points as the battle for the top of the league table continues.
The first Major is hosted by OpTic Texas and will see all 12 teams battle it out for a chance of victory. In this article, find everything there is to know about the first Major of the Vanguard season.

March 7, 2022: OpTic Texas Major Day 4 Recap
The curtain has closed on the first Vanguard Major of the season. After another day of thrilling action, OpTic Texas emerged victorious with a 5-2 victory over Atlanta FaZe in the Grand Finals.
Is this the beginning of a dominant run for the Green Wall? We will have to wait and see.
March 6, 2022: OpTic Texas Major Day 3 Recap
What. A. Day! The third day of the Major was jam-packed full of action. OpTic Texas reverse swept Atlanta FaZe in a thrilling contest before FaZe performed a reverse sweep of their own against the Los Angeles Thieves.
London Royal Ravens defeated Toronto Ultra to book their place in the winner's final while Ultra overcame Boston Breach to stay alive in the elimination bracket.
March 5, 2022: OpTic Texas Major Day 2 Recap
Another day of exciting action is done and dusted. The biggest shock came from the Paris Legion, who managed to defeat Seattle Surge in a hard-fought series.
The struggles of the New York Subliners continue as they were swept aside by the LA Thieves. Is a roster change on the horizon?
March 4, 2022: OpTic Texas Major Day 1 Recap
The opening day of the Major was full of surprises. London Royal Ravens defeated the LA Guerrillas in a five-game thriller while the Atlanta FaZe and OpTic Texas swept aside Boston Breach and Seattle Surge.
In perhaps the closest match of the night, Toronto Ultra overcame a strong LA Thieves to advance into the next round of the winner's bracket.
March 2, 2022: GRVTY Joins Paris Legion
Following the departure of Jacob 'Decemate' Cato, Thomas 'GRVTY' Malin has joined the starting line-up ahead of the OpTic Texas Major. Legion will start the tournament in the elimination bracket after failing to win a match during the three weeks of online competition.
