With Season 2 about to reach the halfway point, the launch of Season 3 is on the horizon. The upcoming season will mark the halfway point of the Vanguard cycle and there's every chance Sledgehammer Games has plenty of brand-new content in store.

When Does Vanguard Season 3 Start?
While Sledgehammer Games hasn't confirmed an exact start date, we can determine the Season 3 start date thanks to the current Battle Pass.
The in-game countdown says the Battle Pass will end on March 29, suggesting the start of the new season could take place at the beginning of April at the earliest. Once we hear more, we will update this article with all the latest intel.
Vanguard Season 3 Update Size
It's too early to tell how big the Season 3 update will be. Past updates have ranged from anywhere between 10 and 30GB, and it's likely that the update will require plenty of space if a lot of content arrives.
Once we know more, the latest information will appear here.
Vanguard Season 3 Guns
With the Whitley, KG M40, and Armaguerra arriving in Season 2, there's a chance a brand-new marksman rifle could appear in the Season 3 update.
So far, a new marksman rifle hasn't appeared in Vanguard so adding one in the next major update could spice up the metagame.
Vanguard Season 3 Maps
As with every season, new multiplayer maps are a certainty. While there are no clues surrounding the new maps appearing in Season 3, there's a high chance of at least one large-scale Arms Race map making its debut.
In addition to an Arms Race map, a selection of smaller multiplayer maps is likely to appear. Could we see a potential remake?
