Warzone: Infinity Ward working to fix an infinite-nade bug

Early Thursday morning, Facebook Gaming streamer Rasta La Vistah shared a video clip of an enemy player who appeared to have infinite tactical grenades.

Stun after stun, the shield-carrying player fought on without really firing a shot. Eventually, Rasta’s squad took them down.

Infinite-tactical glitch in Warzone

“There is currently a bug in Warzone that allows you to have infinite tactical,” Twitter’s Modern Warzone said in a post later that afternoon.

“This includes stuns and stim shots, meaning not only can players spam [unlimited stuns]; they can also heal infinitely in the gas.”

As far as high-priority bugs go, this one’s probably up there on the list for Infinity Ward and its fellow Activision studios.

Infinity Ward responds: A patch is inbound

Thankfully, the stun-grenade exploit will be fixed in the immediate future. The developer is aware of the problem, and has shared a response on Twitter.

“We’re aware of an issue where players are able to use infinite tactical items in Warzone. We have a fix that’s currently being tested, which we’ll release as soon as we can,” the studio said.

“We’ll provide another update when we have more information to share. Thank you for your patience.”

Another, earlier patch was just deployed Thursday morning.

No rest for live-service devs, it seems.
