Call of Duty: Warzone has been available for a while now, with most people managing to get hours of fun out of the game due to it being free, so it’s easy to see why everyone is excited for Season 2. While the game has been around for a few years, the launch of Black Ops Cold War has led to some new content coming to the free-to-play shooter that will likely be inspired by this triple-A release.
Call of Duty: Warzone - When Does Warzone Season 2 Start?
Warzone Season 2 will technically launch on the same day as Black Ops Cold War Season 2, with teases of a new map to play through, along with the usual bells and whistles that come with a season in gaming. Call of Duty fans can look forward to more guns to shoot their friends with, and a number of stability improvements that players will appreciate.
It would also be great if this next update could stop those people who like to cheat in these types of games, but petty hackers who need to win never stop. There are literally people who will hack a game of Fall Guys because they want to be the competitive best. In Fall Guys. Yeesh.
Still, with major map changes coming in Warzone Season 2, it’s not hard not to get excited for this. New locations are usually enough to revive interest in online games, literally changing the landscape to keep experienced players on their toes so that nothing ever gets dull. It also helps that a lot of people are getting tired of the current Warzone map so changes like these are very necessary.
Though it was mostly associated with the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, Call of Duty: Warzone has broken out of that game’s shadow and become something of a must-play shooter. It’s free-to-play, so if you have a PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or PC, definitely check this out.
