Warzone is preparing to enter a brand-new era coinciding with the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Alongside the latest annual release in the franchise, the battle royale will be getting a brand-new map located in the Pacific alongside the integration of Vanguard's extensive arsenal of weaponry.

Ahead of Warzone Pacific's launch, the Call of Duty Twitter account has unveiled the first overview of Caldera, including a complete list of areas that will feature on the map.

It's been a while since there's been any news on the Caldera map, but the recent addition of new Calling Cards has given players a closer look at some of the new POIs that will be on the map, including a huge hotel complex and a secluded fishing village.

Warzone Pacific Map Release Date
Activision has confirmed that Caldera will be available for everyone to play on December 8th, with Vanguard players getting 24 hours of early access beginning on December 7th.
Vehicles
Raven Software has also confirmed that plenty of new vehicles will be appearing in the new map, ranging from compact Jeeps to high-speed fighter planes patrolling the skies during a match.
Alongside the new vehicles, a number of vehicles that appeared in Verdansk will also be available to use.
Points Of Interest
It's rumoured that Caldera will feature over 200 new points of interest (POI). Thanks to recent leaks, the main POIs of Caldera have been revealed and will contain a wide variety of places to drop:

Will Verdansk Disappear?
Just like the original iteration of Verdansk disappeared when Warzone was transported to the 1980s, the chances of Verdansk '84 disappearing from the game are likely, especially when the Pacific map is such a huge change and a chance for the game to start its Vanguard era with a clean slate.
