Step aside Fortnite, Roblox is coming in hot with a unique collaboration featuring iconic British band Coldplay. They are joining a slew of games with unique quests to promote their upcoming album.
Via a press release, Coldplay revealed that they will work with Gamefam, a company that utilizes Roblox to develop several games, with the band set to appear in a total of four with cross-game quests based around lead vocalist Chris Martin's studio notes.
Moon Music will be the band's 10th studio album, marking their return since 2021's Music of the Spheres, ending their three year break between the two.
If you're a fan, you'll be able to check the Coldplay quests in Car Dealership Tycoon, Tower of Misery, Starving Artists, and Really Easy Obby. On top of taking on missions, you'll be able to hear snippets and previews of the band's upcoming album.
“Coldplay’s music is all about connection, and this is a great opportunity to bring people together, crossing generational boundaries. The Roblox experience will provide an immersive adventure that reflects the spirit of the band’s music, making sure both old and new fans can feel part of the Coldplay journey," stated Rebecca Rees, the Community Manager at Parlophone Records.
Each game has rewards for you to unlock besides getting a sneak peek at the latest from Coldplay. Some of these include a unique car to use in Car Dealership Tycoon, a Coldplay Heat Aura to use in Starving Artists and Moongoggle Glasses to use in Really Easy Obby.
Finally, if you complete every Coldplay-themed challenge in all four games, you'll get the exclusive Angle Moon Head for your avatar. All players can access these quests for free, having until October 18 to complete them.
