The PS5 has undoubtedly been one of the best consoles in recent memory.
While many of you were not so lucky to grab one at release, there seems to be an issue that has emerged as of late.
This new drifting issue within the DualSense controller has been seen in the Xbox Series X/S controllers in the past.
Now, it appears Sony may be receiving a lawsuit due to this issue.

A new drifting issue with the PS5 controller has come to light in recent days.
This is when the controller sticks will drift a certain way when you are not moving them yourself.

This issue has been seen in other consoles, such as the recently released Xbox Series X/S.
The issues were so problematic for Microsoft, that they attracted a lawsuit pertaining to the issue.
However, at the time of writing Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP have set up a formal investigation regarding the issue with the PS5 controller.
CSK&D is investigating a potential class action based upon reports that Sony PS5 DualSense controllers for the PlayStation 5 console can experience drift issues and/or fail prematurely," reads the page introduction. "Specifically, it is reported that the joystick on certain PS5 DualSense controllers will automatically register movement when the joystick is not being controlled and interfere with gameplay
