Betting Odds

Using Bet365, the betting odds for the event are now live. Below, you can find the odds for the opening games taking place on January 24th:

  1. Virtus.pro (1/2) v BIG (6/4)
  2. North (1/2) v Sprout (6/4)
  3. Cloud9 (8/13) v Renegades (6/5)
  4. Heroic (5/6) v MAD Lions (5/6)

Predictions

If you were to pick VP, North, C9 and Heroic all to win their first-round matches, a £10 stake would yield a return of £66.63 which isn't too shabby at all.

If you were to take a punt on the underdogs and select either Heroic or the MAD Lions to take the win, a £10 stake would yield much greater returns of £252.08. Certainly worth a punt maybe?

We have selected VP, C9, Heroic and have taken a punt on Sprout to spring an upset against North in the second game. A £10 bet on these four teams would yield a return of £111.05. Not bad at all but it all hinges on whether Sprout can spring a surprise on the more experienced North roster.
