Selfless Gaming are a North American eSports organisation, who currently field a professional competitive team within Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

Originally, the ‘Selfless’ brand was adopted by the team prior to the creation of the organisation, however, it wasn’t until February 2016, following the expiration of their contracts with Enemy, that the Selfless Gaming organisation was officially formed.

Initially, the roster, featuring Michael "Uber" Stapells, Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber, Skyler "Relyks" Weaver, Noah "Nifty" Francis and Mitch “Mitch” Semago, experienced mixed results, finishing 9-16th at the DreamHack Masters Malmö North American Qualifier and 13th – 16th at the MLG Major Championship: Columbus Qualifier.

However, since then, Selfless Gaming has not placed outside the top four in their last six competitions, notably finishing 4th at the 2016 Spring iBUYPOWER Invitational and 1st in the second North American CEVO Season 9 Pro League Qualifier.

Founded in 2015, Splyce, formerly known as FolloweSports, is an American eSports organisation. Currently, Splyce field competitive teams in Call of Duty, League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers Melee, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone and Counter Strike: Global offensive.

Following the acquisition of DOGMEN; Arya "arya" Hekmat, Abraham "abE" Fasli, Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski and Andrew "Professor_Chaos" Heint, Splyce completed their roster in January 2016, as they recruited the services of David "DAVEY" Stafford.

Initially, the new Splyce roster experienced immediate success, as they secured a silver medal and $15,000 at their first event, the 2016 Americas Minor Championship. However, since then, Splyce has been plagued by inconsistent performances and as a result they have only managed to qualify for one major event this year, the MLG Major Championship: Columbus, in which they placed13 - 16th.

Final Comments:

Having qualified for the CEVO Gfinity Counter Strike: Global Offensive Pro League Season 9 finals, Selfless Gaming andSplyce have secured the perfect opportunity to test their skills on an international scale and reiterate their roles as formidable opponents.

While they may be regarded as the underdogs heading into the event, the two North American organisations possess enough skill to cause several major upsets.
