Cyberpunk 2077 has been nominated for The Game Awards 2021. Having previously announced nominations would go live on the 16th, Geoff Keighley revealed the contenders for all 30 categories, and CD Projekt Red's latest game is up for Best RPG alongside Best Score and Music.
Marking the only Western game to make the cut, Cyberpunk 2077 is up against strong competition for Best RPG, where they're joined by:
- Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red)
- Monster Hunter Rise (Capcom)
- Scarlet Nexus (Bandai Namco)
- Shin Megami Tensei V (Atlus/Sega)
- Tales of Arise (Bandai Namco)

Cyberpunk 2077 Grabs Two Nominations at The Game Awards
It's a very different story in Best Score and Music, though. In that category, Cyberpunk 2077 is joined by Deathloop, Nier Replicant, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Artful Escape. You can see more about that below:
Public voting has gone live for all 30 categories through The Game Awards' website, so if you're looking to chime in, that's open now. The ceremony will be streamed worldwide on December 9th at 5pm PST / 8am EST and in the UK, 1am GMT on December 10th. We'll keep you informed as we hear more.
