After that rocky launch last December, Cyberpunk 2077 is seemingly on the up. Following two nominations for The Game Awards 2021 with Best RPG alongside Best Score and Music, CD Projekt Red are evidently optimistic about it's legacy.
Coming to us through VGC, CD Projekt Red president Adam Kiciński recently sat down for an interview with Polish outlet Rzeczpospolita. During this, Kiciński confirmed his belief that Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered a “very good game” in the long-term.

CDPR Believes Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Considered “A Very Good Game” in the Long Run
During this interview, Kiciński stated:
We’re proud of many aspects of the game, but as we know, not everything went our way. Nevertheless, the brand awareness of Cyberpunk that we’ve managed to build is huge, and the game universe, its characters and details have fans all over the world. We believe that in the long run Cyberpunk 2077 will be perceived as a very good game, and like our other titles, it will sell for years – especially as the hardware gets more powerful over time and we improve the game.
Evidently, there's still plenty of life left in Cyberpunk 2077. While we wouldn't expect it on Game Pass anytime soon, we're awaiting news on the upcoming DLC, Update 1.4 and next-gen console releases for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. As always, we'll keep you informed when we learn more.
