We also know that Wonder Woman 2 director Patty Jenkins is returning to supervise development for the third entry. Wonder Woman 3 was officially announced during the last DC Fandome, but since then, not much has been revealed about the movie.
Patty Jenkins revealed during DC Fandome that Lynda Carter will also be reprising her role as Asteria in Wonder Woman 3. She said:
"We are super excited about Wonder Woman 3...We are all three very excited about some things coming up in Wonder Woman 3."
Fans are wondering whether Barabara Ann Minerva will be reprising her iconic role as Cheetah in the third edition of the franchise. While plot details are sealed tight, Gal Gadot mentioned earlier that she wants Diana Prince's character to progress forward. She said:
"I would not go, like, to the '60s or to the '40s with Wonder Woman...I feel like the past has been handled well, and now it's time to move on."
This means fans might get to see a world after the events of Justice League, where the superheroes defeat Steppenwolf. The DC community will be in for a treat once the movie releases worldwide. Nevertheless, fans can expect a new Flash movie first, followed by Aquaman 2 and Black Adam.
