Solo Mode
Respawn Entertainment have built up a huge amount of momentum and they have no intention of slowing down the train. Today, they will be launching the Iron Crown Collection Event, the first time players can compete completely solo. The event is available for a limited time only and will close after the 27th August. So for those of you who want to take on the ultimate test of skill and get some unique skins, now’s your chance!
New Patch Notes & Updates
This has been a highly requested mode by the community and Respawn answered. This won’t be the last time they’ll be taking on community feedback more actively. Community coordinator, Jason Garza, has released a public trello board highlighting a number of bug fixes, quality of life features and other updates they’re working on. The board will be updated every week with the help of the QA department (and the rest of the dev team) so don’t go harassing the poor man if there is something you think is missing from the list. Here is what's currently being worked on for the next patch:
Quality of Life updates
• Better Battle Pass progression UI on match summary• Disable Auto switch when weapon ammo runs out• Auto Sprint for Consoles• ADS sensitivity per optic zoom level.• Add badge earning notifications to post-game summary• Show XP and star challenge progress in post-game summary
General Bugs updates
• Mirage skydive clones sometimes appear behind the player and die prematurely• Players able to shoot when down• Some instances players will receive octane BP loading screen early• Players losing RP when servers crash or disconnect• Pressing the heal button a second time will restart the healing animation
UI & Networking updates
• UI Disappearing• Stat tracker appearing green• Party not ready bug

What is Apex Legends?
Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale from Respawn Entertainment, the creators of “Titanfall”. The game launched on February 4th 2019 and had one million concurrent players over a period of 72 hours and reaching 50 million players in less than 30 days. In comparison, one of its main competitors “Fortnite” took about 100 days to reach 45 million players.
