Mark your calendars and get ready to become more competitive in Fortnite's Performance Evaluations and Trios Cash Cup tournaments starting this coming November 13, 2024. While the name doesn't sound like an esports tournament, the Fortnite Performance Evaluations will be testing the game's tournament system through various multiple-round tournaments.
Ranked Cash Cups, on the other hand, are great ways to start your journey in Fortnite tournaments. You'll be matched with similar-ranking players and will have ample time to hone your skills and lock your scores for the Cash Cup.
Trios Cash Cup, a much more competitive version of the Cash Cup, pits your team against other trios and gives you a chance to win a fantastic $9,000 prize.

It may sound just like a QA testing process for Fortnite but the Performance Evaluations require the highest caliber of players as Fortnite will be gathering performance data during the tournaments. Of course, it will also have a prize pool of $3,200 which is a pretty awesome way to earn tournament money while helping Fortnite make the game better.
Each tournament type, including the Performance Evaluations, will have its own sets of rules so be sure to thoroughly read through these to have an optimal competitive experience.
You wouldn't want to be kicked out or disqualified halfway through the most competitive matches of your early esports career just because you forgot to read the rules, so be mindful of each of the tournaments you'll join.
Players can participate in any region during these tournaments, so if you are in for the grind and are excited to start your esports journey, get ready to put your game face on and jump into competitive Fortnite.
