FIFA 20 Demo has now released ahead of its release date on the 27th September 2019. This will not be the only opportunity to experience the game before launch, there will no doubt be a playable version.

FIFA 20’s demo could be the pivotal moment in deciding whether someone wants to pick up this year’s game.

Teams

Expect similar teams on the demo to last year where we had Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Roma, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and PSG to choose from. With Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool, AC Milan & Inter Milan all having licensing agreements with Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer, don’t expect them to appear on the FIFA demo, nor will we likely see Juventus as their exclusive right have also moved over to Konami’s new football game.

Gameplay

Even before E3, it was released in The Pitch Notes what the areas of focus were for FIFA 20. More realistic finishing, improved defending, a passing overhaul, more difficult chained skill moved and goalkeeper movement being reduced were all mentioned, marking a fantastic start for the FIFA 20 cycle.

Early access?

EA are consistent with their release dates, and it looks set to be the final Friday in September, which will mark the full release of FIFA 20. This year, that will be September 27, 2019, but we can expect the arly access too.

Those who sign up to EA Access get eight hours of gameplay around one week before the game fully releases and those who pre-order the Ultimate or Champions Edition can jump the queues and start playing three days before the official release. That would be on Tuesday, 24 September 2019.

Volta

The first trailer for FIFA 20 arrived at EA Play during E3. The reveal showed the big new feature - Volta Football.  The new FIFA Street-esque mode will be a huge hit with the community, and it would be a huge surprise for Volta to not feature in the demo.

That won't be all though, and we can expect a fuller trailer to be revealed later this summer - with EA choosing the FIFA eWorld Cup Final last year to dive deeper into FIFA 19. If they follow suit, then expect another drop on Saturday, 3 August.
