The November Player of the Month SBCs for La Liga and the Premier League have been released into FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, with Lionel Messi and Sadio Mane winning the awards.
Just to break up the flurry of active promos such as FUTMAS and the announcement of the FIFA 20 Team of the Year for 2019, November's POTM adds even more excitement to the Christmas period.
With both SBCs being very expensive, but rewarding very high-end players, it begs the question, are they worth it?
This article will cover:
- SBC Requirements and Costs
- Analysis of the SBC
- A yes or no as to whether you should complete the SBC

Overall SBC Cost: ~ 2,000,000 Coins
Worth it? No.
For me, despite being the first Messi SBC we’ve ever seen in FUT, I can’t justify this SBC while being around 2 million coins to complete.
Yes, it’s Messi, and yes you get a good few packs back for completing him. However, with so many different tradeable Messi versions available for cheaper, and with TOTY upcoming, I feel that it’s a big amount of coins to put into an untradeable card.
With a TOTY Messi coming in a little under a month, other tradeable versions of Messi, such as the 96 Team of the Group Stage, may actually fall in value to around the price currently of the Messi POTM SBC, meaning that you can pick up effectively a slightly better card for the same price.
Sadio Mane - Premier League November POTM
A highly contested month in the Premier League for the November POTM award, but Sadio Mane receives the award, with a great looking 91 rated card.
Requirements:
SQUAD 1: Liverpool Players: Min 1 | In-Form Players: Min 1 | Squad Rating: Min 85 | Team Chemistry: Min 70SQUAD 2: Premier League Players: Min 1 | Squad Rating: Min 86 | Team Chemistry: Min 65SQUAD 3: Squad Rating: Min 86 | Team Chemistry: Min 65SQUAD 4: Squad Rating: Min 87 | Team Chemistry: Min 60SQUAD 5: Squad Rating: Min 88 | Team Chemistry: Min 55

Overall SBC Cost: 750,000 - 780,000 Coins
Worth it? No.
Similar to Lionel Messi’s SBC, this POTM Sadio Mane is a very expensive card to complete, and with the biggest promotion upcoming in Team of the Year in less than 1 month, it may be better to keep your coins available, rather than sinking nearly 800k into an untradeable POTM Mane.
There’s no doubt that Mane is on fire right now, as in the last 3 weeks alone he’s received a 2nd In-Form, an upgrade to his Road to the Final card, a TOTY Nominee card, and now this Player of the Month item.
With Mane bound to receive further upgrades, I’d be looking to save your coins to potentially buy an even better version later in the FUT calendar.
