It's been quite the summer if you're a Manchester United fan.
If the arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane weren't enough to get the Stretford End faithful excited, there is the small matter of the return of Mr Cristiano Ronaldo.
Some big money has been spent by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, but how will they fare in FIFA 22?
Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 92 → 91)
Cristiano Ronaldo will be the top-rated Manchester United player in FIFA 22.
The Portuguese forward has had to settle for a 91 OVR though, a rating which leaves him outside of the top two for the first time in Ultimate Team history.
Bruno Fernandes (OVR 87 → 88)
Cristiano Ronaldo's rating may have dropped, but Bruno Fernandes' certainly hasn't!
The Portuguese attacking midfielder has seen his fine form over the last 12 months rewarded by an upgrade to an 88 OVR.
Jadon Sancho (OVR 87 → 87)
Jadon Sancho was the first big name to move to Old Trafford this summer, after impressing for Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
The young Englishman is considered one of the hottest prospects in world football and upgrades are almost certain in the future, but for now he will remain an 87 OVR.
Paul Pogba (OVR 86 → 87)
Paul Pogba's form has been back on the rise recently, and EA have acknowledged that with an upgrade to an 87 OVR.
The box-to-box midfielder has everything required to be the perfect CM in the early stages of FIFA 22, so expect a hefty price tag to accompany this upgrade.
Raphael Varane (OVR 86 → 86)
Another player who we expect to see come in at an 86 OVR is new recruit, Raphael Varane.
An assist and a clean sheet on his Manchester United debut makes for good reading for the Frenchman, who signed a five year deal with the club this summer.
David De Gea (OVR 86 → 84)
David De Gea's has shown glimpses in recent weeks that he may be close to refinding his best form.
But with that said, the last twelve months have been underwhelming for the United stopper and as a result, EA have handed the Spaniard a downgrade from an 86 to an 84.
Marcus Rashford (OVR 85 → 85)
Marcus Rashford was one of the go-to Premier League players in Ultimate Team last year, and we're expecting the same in FIFA 22.
We don't envision any upgrades heading the way of the England midfielder, but at an 85 OVR, he'll still warrant a fair transfer fee.
Harry Maguire (OVR 82 → 84)
Harry Maguire put the doubters in their place last season, as he anchored his side to a second placed finish in the Premier League.
The Englishman was overdue a substantial upgrade, and EA have delivered with an 84 OVR ahead of this years' release.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (OVR 83 → 83)
Aaron Wan-Bissaka may have missed out on a spot in England's Euro 2020 squad, but there is no questioning his importance to this United side.
The right back is arugably the best defensively minded right back in the Premier League, and should remain an 83 OVR again this year.
Luke Shaw (OVR 81 → 84)
Luke Shaw is another member of this United side to be handed an upgrade after a hugely impressive campaign for both club and country.
The English fullback has firmly established himself as one of the finest left backs in world football, and he'll be at the top of many FUT wishlists with this 84-rated card.
*Please note that not all of the official in-game stats have been confirmed and therefore expect change to some of these cards before the full release.
