Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 4 is live, and it's time for a fresh batch of weekly challenges!
Last week's challenges had players wielding Storm's Whirlwind Blast.
Week 8's challenges are very straight forward and probably the easiest of the season; which makes a change from the previous Marvel-themed challenges thrown at us.
This week, players will be driving through rifts, visiting locations and killing the opposition in various locations.
Here are week 8's challenges.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Week 8 Challenges Release Date
The new challenges will arrive on the 15th of October 2020 at roughly 2-3pm.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Week 8 Challenges
The Week 8 challenges are now live in-game, here's what you'll be doing:
- Search 7 chests at Sweaty Sands (25,000 XP)
- Get 3 eliminations at Stark Industries (25,000 XP)
- Drive a car or truck through a rift (25,000 XP)
- Eliminate 5 opponents while jumping or falling (25,000 XP)
- Headshot 35 Doom Henchmen or Stark Robots (25,000 XP)
- Visit 5 different named locations in a single match (25,000 XP)
- Deal 15,000 damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles (50,000 XP)
- Deal 500 damage to opponents at Misty Meadows (25,000 XP)
There is an incredible amount of experience to unlock here, totalling 225,000XP if you complete every challenge.
This would get you a long way on your Battle Pass, helping to unlock new characters, emotes, and weapon skins.
What's more, completing a total of 10 challenges from Week 7 and 8 combined will unlock an alternate Wolverine skin, so it's worth going out of your way to complete them.

How To Complete Season 4 Week 8 Challenges
Search Chests At Catty Corner
This is a relatively easy challenge, requiring you to head to the Sweaty Sands POI in Fortnite.
Located to the north-west of the map, you may struggle to do this in one go due to there potentially not being enough chests and competition from opponents.
Your best bet is to jump into squads or solos to ensure you are competing with fewer teammates and even opponents.
It will no doubt be a popular drop place, to begin with, but will die down as the week goes on.
Head to B3 on the map where the small town is located.
Eliminations At Stark Industries
Another simple challenge, but can be dependent on where the final circle lands.
Stark Industries is located to the north-east of the Authority, but it's a very popular drop location due to the Iron Man challenges and this week's Stark Robots headshot challenge.
Not to mention that there is so much loot here, so it shouldn't be tough to finish.
Team Rumble seems to favour this area of the map for its circles and in a mode like Team Rumble that will come in very handy.
HENCH: Take on Doom Henchmen and Stark Robots!
Eliminate opponents while jumping or falling
It's not clear whether your opponents need to be jumping/falling or if you need to be jumping/falling; we assume it's specific to yourself.
We recommend jumping into Team Rumble, picking up a shotgun or SMG, running into the face of an enemy and jumping while shooting.
This is probably the easiest and most consistent way to get the challenge done.
Drive a Car or Truck through a rift
This sounds straight forward, but you obviously need to find a car and a rift.
We advise using the car that's located near the road that runs down D7 on the map (between Slurpy Swamp and Misty Meadows).
You can then find a rift parallel to it in E7.
Headshot 35 Doom Henchmen or Stark Robots
This is a straight forward challenge but can be a bit tedious.
It also can not be done in Team Rumble, so you will need to head to regular Battle Royale modes (solos, duos and squads).
Your best bet is to find a very accurate weapon, such as a scoped AR or Sniper Rifle and keep your distance so they don't get alerted by your presence.
They will be less jerky in their movement and easier to hit. But, they aren't very mobile so you can probably force yourself in there.
Head to Doom's Domain to tackle the Doom Henchmen. Alternatively, go to Stark Industries or any Quinjet location to take on Stark Robots.
Visit 5 different named locations in a single match
An easy enough challenge, head into a match and aim for any POI near the edge of the map.
Coral Coast is probably the best place to drop as you can easily make your way across to a number of different locations in a single game.
With Fortilla located in the south-west area, you can move up to Slurpy Swamp, Weeping Woods, The Authority and Salty Springs easily.
Alternatively, you can try starting in the middle and working outwards; it's all very dependent on the circle location and how quickly the storm collapses.
Team Rumble is probably the easiest way to do it as the infinite respawn will allow you to quickly fall in other locations if you can't do it in one trip.
Deal 15,000 damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles
This is more time consuming than it is difficult
Again, just head into a bunch of games (Team Rumble being the easiest due to the infinite respawns and number of ARs on the floor).
Head to the final location and light everyone up!
Deal 500 damage to opponents at Misty Meadows
A simple enough challenge, but due to the location, it can be tough to do if the final circle does not finish here or if no-one is visiting the location.
If you play Team Rumble enough times, more than likely the battle bus drops will allow a mix of both teams to drop in this location. Or the final circle will push you here.
Get on top of a building and search for a chest and a rifle to quickly take out loot-less enemies.
It may take you a few tries to do, so don't focus too heavily on getting this challenge done from the get-go and focus on other things; it'll come naturally.
