Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 may have been on an interesting start but Fortnite Creative has been around for a good while now.
Introduced back in 2018, this sandbox mode allows players to practice their skills or cool off after a really tedious game in Fortnite.
Those who've been around in Fortnite for a while do know how to get into the islands but here's a nice little guide for those who want to know their way around Fortnite Creative!
How to join a Fortnite Creative map
If you want to join a Fortnite Creative map, first of all, you need to know the code for the map. There may be a lot of maps with the same name, so the code is an unique id of sorts.
Once you've got your hands on the code, you need to hop into Fortnite and head into the Discover tab. Make your way down to the Creative section, and on the screen, you will be prompted to enter an island code.
Enter the code there and you should be taken to the island of your choice.
Alternatively, you could make your way into the Creative lobby and approach any of the terminals in there. These terminals are access points into the featured islands.
Interact with this terminal and then input your code. That should help you load the island you want and take you into it.
Interestingly enough, you can also earn XP for playing Fortnite Creative.
