The first season of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has just entered its second half.
On January 14th, Black Ops developer Treyarch unveiled the Season One Reloaded roadmap, revealing that classic Black Ops 2 map Express would be making a return on February 4th.
Express will be the second classic map to be added to the Black Ops Cold War map pool after Raid was added at the beginning of the season.
According to notable leaker TheMW2Ghost, there are going to be even more classic maps coming to the map pool during the cycle of the game.
This is certainly great news for those wanting a trip down memory lane but for those after something new, the news may come as a disappointment.
Here’s everything we know about the remakes.

8 More Remakes
The leaker which has been accurate on a wealth of information in the past also revealed details on how the maps will be released over the course of a season.
With a total of two classic maps being added during a season, the number of eight reveals that there will only be five season of post-launch content. This can always change but when Modern Warfare received six seasons, Black Ops Cold War players won’t be impressed.
TheMW2Ghost revealed a potential list of maps that could receive a remaster:
- Radiation
- Launch
- Grid
- WMD
- Slums
- Cracked
- Villa
- Turbine
Although this is likely to be the opinion of the leaker, it’s great to see a wide variety of maps that could be making their return throughout the year.
Where Are The New Maps?
The release of The Pines multiplayer map is currently the only new 6v6 map to be added in Black Ops Cold War.
With so many remakes said to be returning, will any new maps be released? We will have to wait and see what Treyarch has in store.
