The first season of post-launch content for Black Ops Cold War is coming to an end, and attention is quickly turning to what content could feature in Season Two.
On February 16th, the first cinematic trailer for the new season dropped and featured a small glimpse of what’s arriving in the new season which begins on February 25th.
Alongside a peek at a potential setting for a new multiplayer map, further developments in the ongoing conflict between Adler and Stitch, and a look at the new Operators that will be making their debuts, eagle-eyed viewers of the trailer have managed to spot two new Scorestreaks that will be added to the ever-expanding arsenal.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Scorestreaks
The return of Scorestreaks to the Call of Duty franchise was met with widespread positivity, but when Black Ops developer Treyarch revealed that the score required to earn a streak wouldn’t reset upon death, criticism from the vocal community quickly emerged.
With one season coming to an end, and with players actually getting to grips with the new system, it could definitely be a lot worse than many make it out to be.
For Season Two, Treyarch will be introducing two Scorestreaks that were widely believed to be included when the game launched in November 2020.
Black Ops Cold War Hand Cannon
Described as a massive high-calibre revolver that fires devastating rounds with increased bullet penetration, the Hand Cannon heavily resembles the Annihilator pistol that featured as a Specialist in Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4.
The Scoretreak will be perfect for eliminating enemies with just a single shot, and if there are any attack helicopters patrolling the skies, the Hand Cannon could be the ideal tool for shooting it down quickly.

Black Ops Cold War Death Machine
The Death Machine has featured in every single Black Ops title and based off the Season Two cinematic trailer; it will be making its return in Black Ops Cold War.
Armed with an unmatched rate of fire, the Death Machine has the capability to clear out a hotly contested area of the map with ease. Like the Hand Cannon, it can also be used to deal with any airborne vehicles that could influence the outcome of a match.
Both of the Scorestreaks arriving in Season Two were meant to be included with the launch of the game, but with the current global situation likely hindering what Treyarch could and couldn’t include in the launch build, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see them being added as pieces of post-launch content.
