The first season of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is fast approaching.
Season One begins on December 16th and is said to be one of the largest content drops ever seen in a Call of Duty game.
With some players beginning to express their frustrations surrounding the lack of content on offer in Black Ops Cold War, the start of the new season couldn’t come soon enough!
With new maps, weapons, game modes, and more arriving to the game, Season One will also see the first new Operator added into the game.
Thanks to some players managing to crack the code of a mysterious teaser, the first details on the Operator have been revealed.

Stitch Operator & Background
Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin is a former KGB worker that has encountered a familiar face from the Black Ops Cold War campaign.
After graduating the Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology in 1959, Stitch joined the KGB as a technology and operations directorate.
In 1965, he was assigned to an undisclosed project where he reported to Colonel Kravchenko, the main villain from the very first Black Ops game that released all the way back in 2010.
Three years later, Stitch was captured and interrogated by the CIA following a raid on the unnamed facility. During the interrogation led by Agent Adler, Stitch lost his eye, hence the somewhat flattering nickname.
After being captured, Kravchenko stripped him of his rank and sent him to the Petropavlovsk Gulag. In 1976, the Gulag came under attack from a group of anonymous operatives. Once the chaos had settled, Stitch went missing.

With a hatred for both Adler and Kravchenko, Stitch becomes the latest member of the Warsaw Pact.
How To Unlock
As of writing, (December 7th) it is unclear how the newest Operator will be unlocked.
It is likely that there will be one of two ways for players to unlock the Operator.
The first is by purchasing the Season One Battle Pass. During the Modern Warfare cycle, the start of the Battle Pass contained an Operator and this could be the case for Stitch. If he isn’t available at the start of the Battle Pass, he could be placed at Tier 100, meaning players will have to grind in order to unlock him.
The second way is by completing some form of in-game challenge. A number of Operators already in Black Ops Cold War require players to complete a challenge in order to unlock them.
We will have to wait until the start of the season to find out!
