The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War went live on January 14th and included a wealth of content arriving to both titles during the second half of Season One.
For Warzone, the update implemented a range of new playlists for players to drop into but removed the immensely popular BR Solos playlist, much to the annoyance of the Warzone community.
Replacing the standard Solos playlist is BR Buy Back Solos. If a player is eliminated but has enough cash to be bought back, they will automatically re-deploy rather than taking a trip to the Gulag, which has been disabled.
For many, the standard Solos mode is much more enjoyable. When exactly will the playlist be returning?

When Will BR Solos Return?
With the return of the playlist in high demand, there is a chance that it will be making a return later this week to satisfy the demand of players.
On the other hand, the playlist could reappear when the next playlist update is released.
Treyarch recently revealed that the playlist updates have been moved from a Tuesday to a Thursday.
This means that BR Solos may not be appearing until January 21st at the earliest.
Why Was It Removed?
An exact reason as to why BR Solos was removed is unclear.
While it is important to refresh the playlist on a regular basis to provide new and innovative gameplay experiences, removing one of the four staples of Warzone seems like a strange decision considering its huge popularity.
In the meantime, if you’re a lone wolf wanting to drop into the action, BR Buy Back Solos is the only available option for Verdansk.
For those wanting a solo match on Rebirth Island, the Rebirth Mini Royale Solo is the playlist to select.
