Electronic Arts have confirmed its EA Play Live show won't happen this year, skipping 2022. Announced through IGN, EA claims there'll be new game announcements throughout this year but need more time before making those reveals.
Speaking in full, EA confirmed:
“We love EA Play Live as it’s our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you. However, this year things aren’t lining up to show you everything on one date. We have exciting things happening at our world-class studios and this year we’ll reveal much more about these projects when the time is right for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!”
EA Play Live Will Skip 2022
EA Play Live skipping 2022 is somewhat surprising, since the company has hosted this event for the past two years. Last year’s EA Play Live revealed the anticipated Dead Space remake and GRID Legends, while the 2020 show confirmed It Takes Two and a brand new Skate game.
EA is working on a number of titles, including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2, two other Star Wars games at Respawn, Dragon Age 4, and more. Stay tuned for more EA announcements when they come through.
