While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
One way to do just that is by installing some mods to spice up your story mode shenanigans via things like Baywatch-inspired missions, intense ATM robberies or even Yakuza Zero-style disco dancing.
If you’re someone who’s already blazed through GTA Online’s Last Dose missions and now fancy a brief return to story mode instead of grinding to add the latest limited-time cars to your collection, a new mod might be worth taking a look at.
In the mood to take another single-player score in GTA 5?
The mod in question is called ‘IAA Contract Heist’ and is the work of modder VxRuz_DanZ, whose previous projects have brought custom versions of GTA Online’s Pacific Standard bank heist and Diamond Casino heist to single-player.
This time, they’ve decided to have a go at creating a mission based around robbing an IAA facility, which you can seemingly access once you’ve purchased the property used to stage it, which is located near the Los Santos Customs shop in Blaine County and will set you back $100k.
As you can see in the showcase video above, once you’ve made this purchase, you’ll seemingly begin receiving texts to help guide you through what to do. The first step is to set things up by stealing an armoured Kuruma packed with explosives, scoping out the subway route you’ll be using to break into the hidden facility, and finally acquiring a hacking device.
Once you’ve done all of that, you’re plunged into the break-in itself. Having entered via the subway, you’ll be in for a tough gunfight before exploring multiple floors to grab gold bars, loot safes and even nick a painting or two.
After exiting the facility, you’ll also have to ditch a five-star wanted level in the Kuruma, before finishing up by delivering the loot to a drop-off point.
While VxRuz_DanZ doesn’t provide a list of mods required to get the heist up and running as intended, you’re probably best off grabbing Script Hook V, Crosire’s ‘Community Script Hook V .NET’ and NewTheft’s ‘Open All Interiors’ beforehand.
Regardless of whether you’re now trying to convince an IAA security guard that you’re just an innocent tunnel enthusiast, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
