From Skyrim and Fallout to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, as well as games like Elden Ring, we here at Gfinity cover an awful lot of mods, with all of them hopefully offering something that’ll make your latest playthrough of any of those games a bit more interesting.
This month has certainly delivered a strong selection, with everything from fresh alchemy recipes to Geralt of Rivia’s missing belt, and even an invitation to a party at Benny’s New Vegas crib having possibly arrived in your load order.

- 1. Fallout 4 gets a massive new quest mod with its own unique workshop pack
With this in mind, we thought it might be cool to highlight five of the best mods that we’ve featured over the course of this month. So, here we go…
5. Skyrim’s Dragonborn retires to the countryside
Kicking things off this month is ‘Leaf Fall Farm Player Home’, which was constructed by modder Skyking2020. If you’re someone who loves cottagecore vibes, or simply wants to give their Dragonborn somewhere peaceful and pleasant to chill out between adventures, this charming bit of real estate will definitely do the trick.
Nestled amid the autumnal forest of The Rift, you’ll find a fully furnished and luxurious farmhouse with its own stable, animal pens and garden, providing the perfect alternative to the homesteads included in the Hearthfire DLC, assuming your family are getting sick of watching the sunrise over Lake Ilinalta.
4. Cyberpunk 2077’s mercenaries get a chance to rest their cybernetically-enhanced legs
Sure, everybody loves getting stuck straight into the action when they fire up a game, but sometimes it’s nice to take a momentary breather and observe the finer details of what the devs have lovingly assembled. This is especially true when the environment in question is as expansive and interesting as Night City.
Fancy a spot of immersive people-watching? Well, modder NexusGuy999’s ‘Sit Anywhere’ will allow you to soak in the sights and sounds of every nook and cranny of CD Projekt Red’s futuristic metropolis, by giving you the power to plonk your bottom down on any seat you find as you roam the streets. Just be sure to check if these benches and chairs are wet first, so that you don’t ruin the designer pants you just blew several thousand eddies on.
3. The Fallout 4 New Vegas crew bring classic laser pistols to The Commonwealth
While Fallout 4’s modular guns and legendary weapon mechanics do often allow for more in-depth customisation than you’ll find in the series’ previous entries, sometimes those who’ve been wandering the wastes for a while might find themselves hankering for the classic tools they used to blast their way through Nevada and Washington DC.
If that sounds like you and energy weapons are your preferred means of dispatching raiders, ‘AEP-7 Laser Pistol and Pew-Pew - F4NV’ might be just what you’re looking for. Made by a group of modders who’re also working on the ambitious project aiming to recreate Fallout New Vegas in Fallout 4’s engine, the mod brings the AEP-7 Laser Pistol to the latter game, along with some unique variants of it like Pew-Pew and Smuggler's End.
2. ESO’s Taarengrav is uncovered in fourth-era Skyrim
As the last entry shows, mods which manage to bring something from one game in a series into another, without breaking the sense of immersion that players crave, are usually pretty popular. For those who love diving into a bit of the Elder Scrolls Online when they’re not rampaging through single-player Tamriel, modder Penrutet’s ‘Taarengrav Barrow’ will likely be a hit.
Bringing the ancient Nordic ruin in question, which makes an appearance in ESO but is absent from vanilla Skyrim, to fourth-era Tamriel as a lore-friendly dungeon for you to explore, the mod is also ideal for those seeking a fresh adventure to head off on. Just make sure you don’t forget you won’t be able to rely on any help from other players when clearing out the draugr.
With that, we’re down to just one victor. So, without further ado, here’s 2023’s second mod of the month:
1. Fallout 4 gets a massive new quest mod with its own unique workshop pack
This month’s winner is a bit of a two-for-one deal, which might be a tad unfair, but we make the rules, ok? As Fallout 4 mods go, things don’t get much bigger than ‘The Fens Sheriff's Department - Bleachers 2’.
Modder MunkySpunk’s sequel to their massively popular project ‘The Bleachers - A Diamond City Story’ overhauls Diamond City, brings a bunch of fresh quests to the game and even provides it with a new optional ending. Plus, you can now grab a bunch of the cool items you’ll see throughout the mod’s various locations for your own settlement and bases, via a workshop pack made by Damanding/Crayonkit and MunkySpunk.
So, whatever kind of player you are, the odds are pretty great this mod will be able to provide something that’ll make your next Fallout 4 playthrough more enjoyable.
Regardless of whether you agree with these selections, make sure to follow us for in-depth coverage of loads more great mods over the course of March. You can also check out our mods of the month for December 2022 and January 2023.
