Streamer Ninja had been going pretty hard prior to the announcement of his sudden hiatus last week, pointing out possibly underrated Fortnite guns and teasing another huge celebrity-filled stream with the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
This is possibly part of what made the news that the blue-haired one would be taking a break for an undetermined amount of time so hard to swallow for many fans, stoking speculation about what could be next for the streamer.
Well, one week later, Ninja’s returned to social media with a video that seemingly confirms that at least one aspect of the conjecture surrounding his abrupt exit was close to being correct.
Did Ninja’s sudden return take you by surprise?
While Ninja’s break was announced at the end of a Twitch stream, his big return took place via Twitter and YouTube, with the streamer sharing a short video that begins with a recap of some highlights from his career thus far, such as receiving a diamond play button and teaching Jimmy Fallon Fortnite dances.
In the video, Ninja confirms that he’s coming back to streaming and suggests that he will be broadcasting across multiple platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and, most interestingly, both YouTube and Twitch.
While doing more Instagram in addition to streaming on Twitch isn’t too surprising given the stance outlined in the platform’s recent Partner Program changes, the mention of YouTube is the one that’ll pique the most interest from fans, with many having hypothesised that the streamer’s hiatus might be the harbinger of a move to primarily streaming on the video platform.
However, while he may be doing more there, it seems that a switch to exclusive YouTube streaming isn’t on the cards for Ninja right now.
Though, in the video, he does tease that invasions of Patreon and Onlyfans might possibly be in store for the Ninja empire in the near future, as well predicting that the Detroit Lions will win this year’s NFL Super Bowl.
