Xbox head Phil Spencer expressed shock over the recent Wall Street Journal report that Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick covered up allegations of harassment and sexual violence, saying he is "evaluating all aspects of our relationship" with the Call of Duty developer. Spencer made the remarks in an email statement Bloomberg obtained, saying he was "disturbed and deeply troubled by the horrific events and actions" at Activision Blizzard, and he also affirmed his and Xbox's commitment to a diverse and inclusive workspace.
"This type of behavior has no place in our industry,” Spencer said.

Bloomberg said Spencer mentioned he would take action in the email, though didn't say what measures he may be considering.
Meanwhile, more than 800 Activision Blizzard employees signed a petition demanding the company remove Kotick from his position. The Activision Blizzard board of directors continue to support Kotick and say the company's efforts to improve inclusiveness and diversity are enough, though they will take time to bear fruit.
The company's stock value continues to fall in light of the new surge of unrest. JP Morgan withdrew its recommendation for the company's stock, and value dropped by 10% this week.
