Each map has its own size, layout and biome.

In addition to the large open world maps listed above, PUBG Mobile has a bunch of maps for the Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode.

What changes are coming in Season 11?

So far, we haven’t heard a huge amount.

We know that there is currently a new TDM map in development thanks to a post on Reddit from the community team at Tencent.

TDM has become incredibly popular on PUBG Mobile and we can expect to see a lot more content come out around it.

A proposed layout was shown of the new map which commenters point out looks strikingly familiar to the Killhouse map in Call of Duty.

As to whether there will be a new Battle Royale mode map, we’ll have to wait as nothing has been announced or leaked as of late.

Maps in PUBG Mobile Season 11

Each map in the Battle Royale version of the game each have their own themes and layouts designed to appeal to a particular player or playstyle.

Erangel and Miramar were the first two maps to be released and are the largest being 8x8 km in size however Miramar has more landmass feeling like it is a lot bigger.

On top of that Miramar is a lot sparser with it being a desert map so there is less cover and hiding spaces compared to the other maps so positioning is key and moving is a lot more risky.

It also boasts the most loot spawns with over 43,000 different items spawning for players and 8,000 of them being weapon spawns.

Sanhok the third map released is a small swamp-jungle map. At only 4x4 km and made up of 50% water, the map is a lot more compact and fighting is more common leading to fast paced and exciting games.

Vikendi is the latest map after the community requested a snowy biome. It is 6x6 and is covered by 60% water although a lot of said water is frozen so can be traversed over by players.

Overall we're interested to see what the new season will hold for us.

We're expecting to see the PUBG Mobile Season 11 update hit our phones on January 10th, 2020.
