Genshin Impact will celebrate the fourth anniversary of its global release on September 28, and what's a better way to enjoy this special event than by giving free Primogems and other rewards to its players?
That's why Hoyoverse has announced "Gift for a New Horizon," a thank-you gift for fans who have supported the action role-playing game since day one.
As a token of love to their players, they will receive a huge amount of Primogens for free! Primogems are the premium currency in the game and can be used to buy things.
With Genshin Impact fans getting to explore the new region of Natlan, it can't help but feel a bit nostalgic, recalling its first-ever adventure in Mondstadt and see how far they've come.
To thank fans for this wonderful journey, 400 Primogems will be given away daily from Saturday, September 28, to Monday, October 1.
Over these four days, players can collect a total of 1,600 Primogems or the equivalent of a 10-wish pull, guaranteeing a four-star drop in the game.
Primogems aren’t the only freebie Genshin Impact will offer during its anniversary. Fragile Resin, Firstborn Firesprite, and Kaboom Box will also be available for free.
Additionally, there’s a new precious item reward: the Sanctifying Elixir, which can be used to exchange for Artifacts with specific affixes.
How to Claim Free Primogems in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact has been generous with rewards since the launch of Version 5.0 on August 28.
Recently, players received a free 5-star unit, 10 free pulls, and 1,000 free Primogems. A new feature was also introduced, allowing players to earn 400 additional Primogems for completing exploration.
To claim these new free Primogems and other rewards, players can follow these four simple steps:
- Log in to the game.
- Check the in-game email from the main menu.
- Claim the free 400 Primogems over four days.
- Once these steps are completed, the Primogems will be credited to the player's account.
However, players should note that they have only 30 days to claim the rewards before they expire. Additionally, they must be at least Adventure Rank 2 to be eligible for all bonuses.
What are Primogems in Genshin Impact?
While banners are Genshin Impact's main revenue source, Primogems are widely considered the game's most valuable currency.
They can be used to replenish Original Resin, with 60 Resin being restored for 50 to 200 Primogems.
Primogems can also be exchanged for Acquaint Fate or Intertwined Fate in Paimon's Bargains within the Wishes menu, each costing 160 Primogems.
Lastly, for 150 Primogems, players can purchase a Battle Pass at each level.
Players can already collect these free Primogems and other rewards in Genshin Impact in a couple of days. So, make sure to get them all before the time runs out.
