When is the next Kamisato Ayato banner rerun in Genshin Impact?
Finally, Kamisato Ayato is being treated to a banner rerun of his 'Azure Excursion'. This will be paired with his signature weapon, the Haran Geppaku Futsu, on the Epitome Invocation weapon banner.

What's the best Kamisato Ayato build?
Ayato is a Hydro vision holder, that uses a sword. He boasts lightning-quick attacks and a large AoE for his burst. He can be used as a DPS, as a sub-DPS, or even a Hydro applicator - though we recommend a heavy damage position for him.
Despite them being related, we don't recommend Ayato and Ayaka in a team together, as they both fill the same sort of roles.

Your best bet will be to place Ayato on a team featuring Cryo and/or Pyro, or Electro for the best reactions.
Kuki Shinobu and Qiqi are both good options as they heal, and have a near-constant elemental effect to surround Ayato as he deals heavy damage. Characters with deployable AoE fields are also helpful, as reactions can pop off with little to no effort.
As a Hydro element unit, Ayato is well placed for all the best reactions in the game - a Vaporize, Bloom or Hyperbloom, or Electrocharged team will provide hefty damage using his Vision.

Ayato's attacks are split between dealing normal damage and dealing Hydro damage for a brief time during his Elemental Skill and for an extended time during his Burst. Ayato can get good results from normal and charged attacks, but your best bet is building him around both.
Though the Haran is sort of Kamisato's signature weapon, it isn't necessarily the best choice for him, which is nice, as it saves us some Primogems. It all depends on what you want to do with Ayato, as to which sword will be the best for him.

As the name would suggest, Kamisato Ayato is the older brother of Kamisato Ayaka. While Ayaka took over the front-facing duties of their clan following the death of their parents, Ayato went on to deal with more political matters within the government.
He is the head of the Kamisato Clan, and of the Yashiro Commission. He is therefore a big name and an important person in Inazuma.
Kamisato Ayato is friends with Thoma, his housekeeper, and is fond of wandering around Inazuma sampling local cuisines. His idle animation sees him drinking boba tea.
