Rockstar finally confirmed the GTA Remastered Collection last week, giving it the lengthy title of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. It compiles three of the franchise's best: Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas and will launch before the end of 2021, but the collection is far from being a simple port.
Twitter account, GTA News RockstarINTEL.com picked up details from a now-deleted Rockstar Support article, which stated that the trilogy will be updated with gameplay inspired by GTA V and a number of significant quality improvements.

As well as presenting GTA V-style controls, the package features vastly improved lighting and environments, complemented by high-resolution textures. What textures are getting overhauled is unclear just yet, but we assume it's both character models and environment assets.
