AFK Journey Honor Duel Mode Explained
Honor Duel is one of AFK Journey's modes and provides a fair experience by equalizing everything between players. This Fair Play mode doesn't care about your squad, your rank, or how far you've progressed in the game. To participate in this mode, build a team with random heroes and engage in battles against other players under the same conditions.
To participate in the Honor Duel mode, you'll need Invite Letters. The game generously provides five invitations per day, but you'll need to spend some of your gold if you want more. That said, you can also receive them as a reward.
How To Get Heroes for Honor Duel Mode
So what exactly do you need to do in this PvP mode? The answer is quite simple. Here, unlike your heroes, you have to use the ones you get through a card/store system that the game provides specifically for this battle mode.
The shop system you need to use to choose a hero in the game is called Duel Store. You will visit here often because you can purchase heroes or equipment from here with the Honor Badges you earn in each match.
Keep in mind that the more matches you finish, the higher the level of this store, and consequently, the level of items and heroes within it increases. Moreover, the Duel Store refreshes after every battle.
To manually refresh this shop, you need to spend 3 Honor Badges. Furthermore, if you like a particular item in the store, you can lock it to prevent it from being replaced by others.
In the Honor Duel, heroes have the opportunity to ascend twice: first from Epic to Legendary, and then from Legendary to Mythic. With each ascension, the hero's fundamental statistics will see a significant boost. Ascending heroes to the Mythic level also unlocks their Exclusive Skill.
At the beginning, you won't have any heroes, so it's wise to buy a package of three random heroes for 18 Honor Badges to build your team. That said, you can purchase a bundle containing three heroes from specific factions, available for 18 Honor Badges.
There's no need to worry. You will be able to get a specific hero at later levels, and your job will become much easier. This will unlock at Level 2 and cost 15 Honor Badges.

AFK Journey Honor Duel Rules
Winning a round of Honor Duel involves achieving 9 victories while accumulating 3 losses ends the round immediately. If the round's time limit is reached, the match ends in a draw, which doesn't count towards a win or a loss.
After each non-draw round, players earn Honor Badges based on the round's outcome and the number of heroes deployed that were not deployed in the previous round. Additionally, 7 Honor Badges are gained for each hero deployed that was not used in the previous round.

If everything is ready, now it's time to defeat your opponents. Keep in mind that your enemies will be real-time, so you will have to take things a little more seriously.
Before the battle begins, each side must first place three heroes on the map. Then, your opponent will be able to see your three heroes, and you will be able to see theirs. Each side will then place the final two heroes on the battlefield. After the two formation phases are completed, the match will be played, and you will be able to see the results.
