In typical Ubisoft fashion, there are three separate editions of the game available for purchase. Unfortunately, none of these provide early access, instead opting for external bonuses and promises of content some time after launch.
The standard edition provides the base game for a price of £59.99 / $69.99. The gold edition adds the season pass for £94.99 / $109.99, and a third ultimate edition includes adds the 'ultimate pack' and digital artbook for £114.99 / $129.99. The ultimate pack reportedly includes several cosmetics, a unique weapon, and character gear set.
It's unfortunate that these incredibly expensive editions don't include early access. Conversely, it ensures that everyone can explore Pandora at the same time on equal footing. Early access isn't always a success, either, as we recently saw with Forza Motorsport.
