There are loads of upgrades to unlock throughout your time with Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. Your goal should be to grab the best ones, and then experiment with the others to work out a good build. Here's what we recommend picking up:
Best Cereza upgrades
- Multi-Bind - Allows Cereza to use the Thorn Bind move twice in quick succession, tying up two enemies. Gives you less scope to be hit during crowded battles.
- Cheshire Reflect - When in Together mode, hold the right stick out at an enemy projectile for Cheshire to deflect it.
- Venom Thorn - Traps enemies in Thorn Bind for longer and makes them move more slowly while being bound up.
- Witch Time - Use L at the right time to dodge incoming attacks and move quickly for a short period.
Best Cheshire upgrades
- Chomp! - Hold down ZR to perform a powerful finishing move on weakened enemies.
- Thick Skin - Increases the damage Cheshire can take without being knocked out and going back to Cereza for healing.
- Claws and Fangs - Cheshire's base attacks are more impactful.

If you're looking to upgrade in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, you have to head to the fractured mirrors at any of the rest camps. Then, press L to activate them.
