For those brave Guardians taking on the challenge of Destiny 2 The Final Shape Legendary difficult, you’ll be rewarded handsomely. While it’s fun to blast through on Normal, the more methodical approach required for Legendary kicks it up a notch. In return for that, you’ll be able to claim the exclusive Destiny 2 The Final Shape Legendary campaign rewards, including a free Exotic and bonus gear.
Every one of the Destiny 2 The Final Shape missions can be completed on Legendary difficulty, a harder mode with tougher enemies, modifiers, and more that force you to play smarter. This is where having the best Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan builds, Prismatic Warlock builds, and Prismatic Hunter builds come into play, as you’ll need them to make it through in one piece.
Destiny 2 The Final Shape Legendary Campaign Rewards
For completing the Destiny 2 The Final Shape Legendary campaign, you will earn the following rewards:
- A full 1960 Power level gear set
- The Final Shape Exotic armor
- Bonus Upgrade Modules
The most exciting reward is undoubtedly a choice of Final Shape Exotic armor for your class. While these are otherwise earned through completing Legendary and Master Lost Sectors, that requires luck to be on your side. This makes completing the campaign on Legendary difficulty a relatively quick and easy way to guarantee a new Exotic drop. Unfortunately, you can’t choose from the new Exotic class items, as these are reserved for a separate activity.
Importantly, this free Final Shape Exotic armor drop is dependent on the class you're playing as:
- Titans can pick either Hazardous Propulsion or Wishful Ignorance
- Warlocks can pick either Mataiodoxia or Speaker's Sight
- Hunters can pick either Gifted Conviction or Balance of Power
However, you shouldn’t overlook the high-level armor set. Sure, it’s not as flashy as an Exotic but this armor will give you a big headstart in the endgame of the expansion, especially if you’ve got plans to beat The Final Shape raid, Salvation’s Edge. This armor will be 20 Power above the soft cap and 30 below the Powerful gear cap
