Witherhoard is great Breech-Loaded grenade launcher

In essence, Breech-Loaded grenade launchers are GLs that have a single round and need to be reloaded after firing once, all of them use special ammo, meaning none of the heavy grenade launchers will count for the Mountaintop quest.

This grenade launcher archetype can be found as a primary or in your energy weapon slot, depending on their damage type. If you're looking to complete the quest fast by getting rapid kills, pay attention to the frame, as this is what separates a good from a great grenade launcher.

For this quest, we recommend Wave-Frame grenade launchers as they can output more area-of-effect damage. Furthermore, make sure your grenade launcher has the Auto-Loading Holster perk, as it'll make your life much easier since you'll be constantly reloading otherwise without outputting much damage, especially if you're trying to complete the quest in Onslaught.
