Unlocking the Auroral Helm involves collecting Ortega's Helm, a Wrecking Ball, and Zenithium.

Here’s the guide to finding each one:

Ortega's Helm

The first task on your journey is to obtain Ortega’s Helm, the legendary headgear once worn by the hero’s father.

Head to the village of Mur, where the locals will tell stories of a warrior who once kept them safe.

This segment reveals more about Ortega, expanding on his legacy. You can find Ortega’s Helm placed on the counter in the village’s item shop.

However, it’s not something you can get instantly. Head to the back door of the shop and make your way upstairs.

You'll see a group of children singing songs that honor Ortega's heroism.

Once this is done, go back to the shopkeeper downstairs and talk to them. They'll understand your connection with Ortega and hand over the helmet.

Wrecking Ball

Next up, you'll need a Wrecking Ball to pick up Zenithium. Start by heading to the Quagmire Cave in the toxic swamp south of Kol.

This is where you’ll meet Robin 'Ood’s henchmen, who’ll speak of a glowing blue stone in Gaia’s Navel.

They mention that a strong explosion is needed to break through the stone.

If this rings a bell, it’s because you’ve already acquired a Wrecking Ball along the way.

Visit the village of Reeve, where the explosives expert lives. You’ll find him in the house marked with a red door.

If you talk to him, he’ll offer you a second Wrecking Ball, saying he recently finished crafting it.

Zenithium

The next step is to get Zenithium from Gaia’s Navel, but it’s a tough dungeon, so make sure you're ready.

Equip your hero with strong gear and abilities, as you'll encounter fierce enemies here.

Make your way down to the dungeon's bottom level, where a glowing blue stone is set into the wall.

This stone is the Zenithium you're after. Position the Wrecking Ball next to the stone, then move away to avoid the blast.

The blast will free the Zenithium, leaving it intact and ready to collect. Pick up this material for the Auroral Helm before exiting the dungeon.

Head to the Shrine of the Dwarf, located far north of Mur along the coast.

Within the shrine, you’ll encounter a dwarf who is not only a skilled craftsman but also an old companion of Ortega.

If it's your first time meeting him, he’ll talk about his bond with Ortega and praise your heroic journey.

Hand over the Zenithium, and he will suggest reforging Ortega’s Helm as a way to thank both you and your father.

The forging process takes several in-game days, so you'll need to wait before you can return for your reward.

After the crafting is done, the dwarf will give you the Auroral Helm. This is a revamped take on Ortega’s Helm, with special upgrades for the hero.

Not only does this helmet boost defensive stats, but it also carries the legacy of Ortega.
