Itching to know how to get Divine Solvent in Final Fantasy 14? This essential currency plays a major part of the FFXIV 6.5 patch, and it's just one of three different tokens you'll be grinding hard for well into the new year. The sooner you know how to get it, the quicker you'll stop needing it. To a point, at least. Here's both how to get it, and where to spend it.
With the Dawntrail expansion set to replace Endwalker in 2024, there's plenty of time to farm enough Divine Sovlent to complete the armour sets of each battle class in the game. You'll need the other two aforementioned tokens, too, but we're focusing on Divine Solvent for now.

How to get Divine Solvent in Final Fantasy 14
You can exchange Anabaseios Mythos books from the Savage Anabaseios raids for Divine Solvent at Djole's stall in Radz-at-Han's West Balshahn Bazaar area. Unlike the other two upgrade materials, which have a new acquisition method in the latest patch, this particular one can still only be had by working your way through the 6.4 8-man raids.

Once you've got a Divine Solvent in your inventory, trade it for a new piece of gear from Khaldeen in Radz-at-Han. He occupies the first stall on the left if you go into West Balshahn Bazaar from the Radz-at-Han Aetheryte Plaza.
What is Divine Solvent used for in FFXIV?
You can exchange a single Divine Solvent alongside a 'Credendum' weapon for an 'Augmented' version instead. Augmented gear is ten item levels higher than the base piece.
Is the 6.5 raid gear good?
As of patch 6.5, Augmented Credendum gear obtained by upgrading Credendum gear from the Thaleia raid is ten item levels higher than Tomestone gear from the previous patch.
It's also 20 levels higher than the previous standard 8-man raid gear, and the same item level as the gear found in the previous patch's savage raid tier.
This makes it some of the easiest and most powerful gear to obtain in the game currently.
