Fire Emblem is a game series associated with many great things: character relationships, story, and great music. If you have your hands on the game and want to know how to change the Somnial music in Fire Emblem Engage, here's what you need to know. It's a relaxing place, but you can have battle themes from past games bellowing out if you prefer.
Being such a big game, there are plenty of points in the game where things aren't fully explained. Because of this, we will go over how to change Somnial music and how to unlock new tracks in the game. Fire Emblem Engage has music worth listening to, and quite a few different tracks to unlock.

How to change the Somnial music in Fire Emblem Engage
If you are looking to change the music in The Somniel, you simply have to go over to the Café Terrace area. From here, you'll find a music box to the right of the cooking counter. Just click on it to change the track you hear as you walk around the Somniel.
How to play the default Somniel music in Fire Emblem Engage
If you've set one of the new tracks to play and you want to change it back to the default Somnial track, you have to untick the currently active song. You won't see the original song on the list.
How to unlock more music in Fire Emblem Engage
Unlocking music in Fire Emblem Engage will just happen as you continue to play the game. Many of the game's tracks correspond with regions of the map so you will unlock "A Tea Party in Firene" after the first few chapters and "Good Company in Brodia" by chapter nine.
As well as this, you get given coins for redeeming your Fire Emblem Amiibos, which can then be used to purchase classic Fire Emblem tracks. This is a good way of paying homage to the games that came before it. Even without Amiibos, you will have a decent few track options to choose from by the time you get through the game.
The music that plays in the background of The Somniel doesn't seem to have any other effects than this and you don't seem to get rewards from finding more tracks. That being said, they are a nice addition to the world.

Unless you have some Fire Emblem amiibo on hand, your choice of music for the Somniel will be slim. With them, however, you'll be able to use the music tickets they award to buy classic tracks from older games.
You don't need to have the protagonist of the tracks corresponding game, though. Any Fire Emblem amiibo will give you a music ticket, and you can scan the same ones again 24 hours later for more. Just spend the tickets in the amiibo Gazebo shop to unlock more songs.
How to change battle music in Fire Emblem Engage
If you don't want the music in your battles to suit the location and context of the mission, you can actually change this as well.
Unlocked gradually as you play through the game, you'll find the option to change both the music that players during your turn and the enemy's turn in the generally settings.
